Refund & Returns Policy


The Light is a start-up charity shop and as such, these policies will be reviewed as the shop grows. Currently, policies will reflect measures that are sustainable and in line with raising profit for charity.

FOR ITEMS BOUGHT FROM OTHER PLATFORMS THROUGH THE LIGHT:
Refunds and cancellations are subject to individual vendor’s policies and do not affect your statutory rights. Please kindly ensure you familiarise yourself with these policies before purchase.

FOR CUSTOMISED ITEMS BOUGHT ON ANY PLATFORM:
Items that were customised with your chosen slogan, or items that are engraved or personalised in any way, are non-refundable and non-returnable for any reason other than quality failure.

FOR “THE LIGHT” ITEMS BOUGHT:
Full priced non-customised items are returnable and refundable provided it is within 28 days of purchase and in its original and unworn/unused state. Sale/discounted items are only returnable within 14 days. The method of refund is delivery at or postage to The Light offices, at own cost. Please circle or tick the items being returned on your original delivery slip and make sure it reaches:

Postage is at own risk, therefore a trackable service is recommended. Delivery at the Offices, (CRC Training Centre) will require a signature as proof of delivery.
